CRAFT was designed by the logging industry for the logging industry. Accounting Services Employment Training (A$ET)

A$ET was designed in response to local industry across many sectors that are in need of accounting clerks. Now, an accounting clerk can wear many hats and may not even have that official title but the skills gained through this program addresses the needs we heard from employers. This program can take up to 18 months and requires 3000 hours of on-the-job training and 693 hours of related instruction provided by Shasta College. Upon completion, registered apprentices will receive a Shasta College Accounting Clerk Certificate and an industry recognized Certificate of Completion from the state! Heavy Equipment Logging Operations (HELO)

Shasta College’s certificated HELO program is also a California registered pre-apprenticeship!  The foundational skills and knowledge gained through HELO, prepares students to enter directly into CRAFT and continue building their logging career as a registered apprentice! Registering as a pre-apprentice is quick and easy with no additional costs or time! Upon completion, registered pre-apprentices will receive a Shasta College HELO Certificate and an industry recognized Certificate of Completion from the state! Once you’re registered for HELO, contact Office of Apprenticeship to register as a pre-apprentice.
